Douglas Fairbanks portrays the son of a man murdered by pirates who vows revenge for their actions. Joining up with the very band of pirates that was responsible for his father's death, our hero soon ingrains himself with the rogues by proving himself valuable to the crew when he captures a merchant single-handedly. His plans for revenge become complicated when he must protect a woman found aboard the pirate's most recent captured ship.
